Burglaries Reported in Perkiomen Home, Red Hill Storage Facility, Police Say

A Red Hill garage was also allegedly burglarized.

 

Home Burglary in Perkiomen

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the home of a 70-year-old man on the 700 block of Gravel Pike was burglarized on March 25.

An unknown individual, or individuals, entered the home between 7-11 a.m. through the basement window and allegedly stole several pieces of jewelry, according police.

The individuals then fled in an unknown direction, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at 610-584-1250 and reference incident number K03-1909453.

Garage Burglary in Red Hill

The garage of a 53-year-old male on the 300 block of E. Sixth Street in Red Hill Borough was allegedly burglarized between March 10 and March 24, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

A report states that individuals entered the unlocked garage and stole two grinders, a sawzall, an extension cord, and two five-gallon buckets containing copper and brass. The value of the items was just under $500.

Business Burglary in Red Hill

R H Self Storage on Hendricks Road was allegedly burglarized overnight on March 21, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

A report states that, between the hours of 11 p.m. on March 21 and 10 a.m. on March 22, an unknown individual, or individuals, attempted to force entry into the business through a back door, damaging the door.
