Burglars Target Schwenksville Camp, Police Say

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a report of a burglary at Camp Rainbow in Schwenksville that occurred overnight Wednesday.

According to police, unknown individuals broke into the medical office of the campgrounds and took medical supplies. There were also unsuccessful attempts made to gain entry to other buildings in the camp.

Camp Rainbow, located at 989 Clemmer’s Mill Road in Schwenksville, provides “a physically and emotionally safe one-week overnight camping experience to deserving children in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania,” according to the organization.
