Cash, Jewelry Stolen During Local Daytime Burglaries

Burglars struck homes in Skippack and Lower Frederick, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating the report of three recent residential burglaries. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 610-584-1250 and reference the below incident numbers.

Daytime Residential Burglary in Skippack

On June 25 between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an unknown individual, or individuals, broke into the home of an 84-year-old Skippack man from the 1200 block of North Grange Avenue man and stole jewelry from the residence.

The burglar, or burglars, then left the scene; police are asking for anyone with information regarding this burglary to contact the PSP and reference incident number K03-1925890.

Burglary on Cemetery Lane in Lower Frederick

A 64-year-old Schwenksville man reported that the side door of his Cemetery Lane home was kicked in at some point between the early-morning hours of June 18 and June 23 at 2:40 p.m. At that time, an unknown individual, or individuals, searched through his drawers, removing roughly $1,000 in cash. According to police, the individuals then exited through a rear sliding door.

Daytime Burglary on Fulmer Road in Lower Frederick

In a separate Lower Frederick incident, a 54-year-old man reported that his home on Fulmer Road was burglarized on June 20 between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. when an unknown individual, or individuals, entered his home through an unlocked door and removed a storm window from the second floor master bedroom.

The victim was unsure if anything else was taken from the residence at the time. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the PSP and reference incident number K03-1925225.
