Collegeville-Trappe Memorial Day Parade Volunteers Recognized
Mayor Connie Peck distributed certificates of appreciation for the residents who helped with the parade.
Several residents from Collegeville and Trappe were recognized for their work towards the Collegeville-Trappe Memorial Day Parade, which took place on May 27.
According to Peck, volunteers have over 1,100 volunteer hours in preparation for the parade.

"I couldn't have asked for better support of Trappe and Collegeville," Peck said.
Russ Henze, who initially developed the idea for the parade, was on hand.

"You've done an excellent job for the past three years," Peck told Henze.
Long-time committee members - John Tate and Paul and Sue Stevens- were also at the meeting, as were Cathy Kernan and Nina Owens.
Lynn Fleisher, Rev. Martha Kriebel, Andrea Baptiste, Peter OConnor, Bill Preston and Laura Schlager were thanked for their service, but they were not present at the meeting.
