“I am definitely going to be the first person to walk across the country and gain weight,” Brown blogged after receiving cookies and other treats from an Ohio woman who lost her sister and mother-in-law to Ovarian Cancer.
There has been a steady stream of walkers with Brown as he’s walking.
“I had expected my walk to be much more of a walk of solitude,” Brown blogged. ”Nine of the last ten days someone has walked at least part of the day with me which has been great.”
On Day 47, Benjamin Turner, Brown’s waiter from the previous night’s dinner, joined him on the road as the ninth person to put in an entire day’s walk.
