Flood Warning In Effect in Perkiomen Valley

There is a flood warning in effect until 8 p.m. in the Perkiomen Valley, as the east branch of the Perkiomen Creek is above the flood stage, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

As of 4 p.m., the river was at 8.43 feet; a moderate flood stage begins at 8 feet, and a major flood begins at 10 feet.

The NWS warns residents residents not to drive vehicles into areas where water covers the roadway.
