High School Baseball: Vikings fall to Golden Panthers

Pope John Paul pitcher Jeff Evans tossed a complete game, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits. The Golden Panthers plated the winning run in the top of the 7th inning on a 2 out RBI single by Sal DiPrinzio scoring Tyler Mikell. 

The hardluck loser was Kenny Wolf, who also pitched a complete game allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. Paul Mills put the Golden Panthers on the board first with a solo homer in the 4th; their first hit of the game. Perkiomen Valley tied the game in the fifth on the RBI single by Andrew Kenney plating Ryan D'Ambrosio. Dave Leggieri was 2-3 on the night.
