Hit-and-Run Crash Reported in Perkiomen
A vehicle struck a road sign and fled the scene, according to police.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident on Wartman Road near Acoma Lane in Perkiomen Township on Feb. 1 just after midnight.
According to police, the crash occurred as a driver was allegedly traveling eastbound on Wartman Road, when the driver traveled off the roadway on the right-hand side and stuck a speed limit sign.
The vehicle then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
