Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash in Skippack Township

EMS transport to area hospitals.

Unofficial, early reports indicate teens suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lucon Road in Route 73/Skippack Pike in Skippack Township shortly before 7:30 a.m. today.

According to witness Rick Bradbury, of Skippack, a Mattiola Services vehicle was making a turn from Lucon Road onto Route 73, into the path of Dodge Neon. The Neon struck a back portion of the other vehicle, according to Bradbury, suffering major front-end damage.

Bradbury said he saw a teenage boy exit the Neon, clutching his arm and yelling in pain. Skippack EMS and responded to the scene. The young man was taken to an area hospital to be treated for an arm injury, according to reports. A teenage girl was transported by the Lower Frederick Ambulance Corps.
