Jail Time for Admitted Burglar Whose Break-Ins Include Perkiomen

Drew John Pashley Jr., 31, with known addresses in Lower Providence and Perkiomen, was sentenced to 11½-to 23-months and three years' probation.

According to The Times Herald, 31-year-old Drew John Pashley Jr. was sentenced to 11½-to 23-months in the jail, and three years’ probation after pleading guilty to charges of burglary, attempted burglary and theft from a motor vehicle in Montgomery County Court. Pashley will also pay $12,221 to victims as part of his plea agreement. Pashley will be eligible for work release during his incarceration.

Pashley was charged in connection with mutiple break-ins in West Norriton and Perkiomen in April and May of this year. He was apprehended on May 16 by when a Burnside Avenue resident reported a suspicious person walking around an unoccupied home on the street, trying doors and windows. Officers apprehended Pashley not far from the scene and after being positively identified by the resident who made the report, he admitted to officers that he was a drug addict and was attempting to burglarize the home.

According to The Herald, further investigation by State and West Norriton Police led authorities to check area pawn shops where they recovered several items stolen in previous burglaries in West Norriton and Perkiomen that were pawned by Pashley.
