Keystone Grange Hosting Blood Drive

The second annual event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 21.

Keystone Grange No. 2 is holding its second annual blood drive at the Grange Hall at 192 W. Main Street in Trappe on April 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to the Grange, someone in the U.S. needs blood ever two seconds, meaning that 38,000 blood donations are needed every day.  A car accident victim could use up to 100 pints of blood, and blood transfusions are becoming more common in cancer chemotherapy.
