Kids on the Hunt in Lower Frederick
Local families braved the rain to scoop up some eggs, and say hi to the Easter Bunny.
Dozens of excited children squished through the soaked lawns at Coble Park as they added colorful egg after colorful egg to their respective bags and baskets at Lower Frederick's egg hunt Saturday morning.
Each egg had a candy surprise, and children also could pick up extra candy, a coloring book and a small bottle of bubble soap after the hunt. The Lower Frederick Parks Board, which is in charge of the event, also collected eggs to "recycle" them for next year.
