A Man Accused Of Possessing Child Porn And Secretly Spying On Women Will Face Charges
David H. Allshouse, III, 28, of Lower Frederick, waived his preliminary hearing this week. He will face child porn and other charges.
LOWER FREDERICK, PA — A western Montgomery County man accused of possessing child pornography and of taking hidden bathroom videos of adult women without their consent will be facing numerous charges after he waived his preliminary hearing this week.
Court records and news reports show that the criminal case against David H. Allshouse, III, 28, of Lower Frederick Township, who was charged in early August with more than 80 felony counts of child pornography possession, will be moving forward after he waived a preliminary hearing on Sept. 14, according to a report in the Pottstown Mercury and a criminal docket sheet in the case.
The record shows Allshouse appeared before Magisterial District Judge Maurice H. Saylor in the early afternoon on Tuesday. The record shows Allshouse remains free after posting $1,000 cash bail back in early August.

Allshouse has been charged with a total of 83 felony counts of child pornography possession, one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility and five misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy, according to the court docket.
His arrest, which Patch reported on in August, came after Montgomery County detectives had received two cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children involving the uploading of child pornographic images to two Dropbox accounts associated with Allshouse.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office stated that the case began with the cybertips in early April, and culminated with Allhouse’s arrest later in the summer after investigators reportedly got Allshouse to confess that he had downloaded and shared graphic images of young children engaged in sexual activity.
Police papers containing probable cause for a search warrant that was ultimately served on Allshouse’s residence said that Allshouse allegedly performed very graphic sexual acts on minor females and also had the girls perform acts on themselves.
Investigators had served the search warrant on Allshouse’s home on June 22, in which they seized various electronic devices containing the child pornography files.
Police also discovered hidden video of three different adult women who claim they had been unaware that Allshouse was taping them during private moments, such as in the bathroom. The women were identified as two ex-girlfriends and one ex-girlfriend of a roommate.
Allshouse was originally arraigned on Aug. 5 by Magisterial District Judge Christopher Cerski, who had set bail at $75,000 cash, but bail was reduced to $1,000 cash the following day as part of Montgomery County’s new Pre-Trial Services Program, according to county prosecutors. Allshouse posted bail that following day.
A preliminary hearing had originally been scheduled for mid-August, but the docket sheet shows that it was subsequently continued to Sept. 14.
