Man Injured in Two-Car Collision in Trappe
Ford Escape hit PECO truck head on; crash's cause unreported at this time.
transported a man to Pottstown Hospital for treatment of facial injuries following a two-vehicle, head-on collision in the 560 block of Main Street in Trappe around 4 a.m., according to Deputy Chief Robert Greenwood.
According to reports at the scene, a PECO crews were working on poles along Main Street to restore power that had been . They were finishing the job when a Ford Escape hit the PECO truck, which was parked in the lane of travel with its lights on, witnesses said. The SUV's driver was the car's only occupant. None of the PECO workers suffered injuries.

The PECO truck had minor damage and was still drivable; traffic cones that were attached to the fron bumper appear to have absorbed some of the impact. The Escape's front end was destroyed and Superior Transport and Recovery towed it from the scene.
