Royer was last seen purchasing gas and water around 2 a.m. on Friday morning in Breinigsville, which is only 30 miles from his home.
ABC Reports say Royer's vehicle was seen again at 1 p.m. on Friday at Route 501 and Route 22 in Lebanon County, where two Subway restaurant employees told Action News that they "feel confident" they saw Royer.

The Lebanon County sighting is over 60 miles away from Skippack, and Pennsylvania State Police say he may have disappeared on his own.
“We are currently investigating (Royer) as a missing person,” said Trooper Morgan Crummy, according to the Times Herald. “At this point, while it may be a voluntary move on Matthew’s part, we are still expending all resources in this investigation to locate Matthew.”
Janet and Randy Royer, Matthew's parents, also addressed members of the press.
“Matthew, if you can hear this, no matter what the circumstances are, your friends and your family, we all love you, we’re here for you, please contact us, call home — we will come anywhere, any place, any time for you, we are here for you, we love you and miss you,” said Janet.
Philly.com is reporting that Matthew dropped out of the pharmacy doctoral program at the University of Rhode Island at the end of the Fall 2012 semester, but that he is still listed as a registered student of the university.
According to the Philadelphia Association of Golf Course Superintendents, Matthew's brother, Ryan, is the superintendent at Skippack Golf Club, where Matthew was planning to work this summer.
