Moyo Yoga Kids Raise Money for Chosen Charities

Young students at performed their promised poses, and took turns leading their instructors and classmates in other poses, during the Sunday.

The children enlisted sponsors who pledged to donate money for the poses. Donations will benefit the Montgomery County SPCA, Cradles to Crayons and Manna on Main Street. According to teacher Kelly Whalen, the students raised an estimated $300.

After the event, the children received hats and tiaras and certificates for the day's achievements. Then they and their families and teachers enjoyed a few healthy snacks and drinks.
