Potential activities include a petting zoo, to “help remind people of all the biodiversity and wildlife there is in the world,” according to Ursinus student, and UCEA leader, Megan Maccaroni.
Plastic bag awareness is also in the works; a reusable Chico bag will be made available for residents to buy so that any purchases at community day will not be stored in plastic bags, which “are a constant threat to marine life,” said Maccaroni.
