Primary Montessori focuses on practical life, sensorial, mathematics, language and cultural areas of concentration to prepare children for kindergarten. Providence Montessori Kindergarten will be available in the 2014-2015 school year.
According to the Providence Montessori School website, the Montessori method of education is based on the need for children’s freedom within limits, and a carefully-prepared environment that guarantees “exposure to materials and experiences.”
