Pennsylvania State Police Apprehend Suspected Burglar
Other incidents include reported thefts, alleged DUI and simple assault.

A Schwenksville teen is being held at Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail in connection with a burglary incident in Schwenksville Borough on Aug. 8, police said.
According to a report, Blake Andrew Rezabek, 19, entered a Schwenksville woman’s residence in the 2300 block of Forest Lane, and secured the door with a chain and deadbolt lock.
When the woman returned home, she had to force her way into the house due to the chain. Once inside, she allegedly saw Rezabek walking out of her bedroom; Rebazek then passed the woman and “ran out to the parking area of the complex and fled in a red Mitsubishi Lancer,” police said.

Trooper First Class Peter Hulayew Jr. and Trooper Daniel M. Bradley apprehended the suspect in front of his residence, which was within a mile and a half from the scene, according to the report.

Jewelry Worth Thousands of Dollars Reported Stolen from Perkiomen Home
An unknown person (or people) stole jewelry from a home in the 100 block of West 7th Avenue in Perkiomen Township sometime between June 12 and Aug. 5 this year, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.
Approximately $14,000 worth of jewelry was taken, police said.
Trappe Man Facing Simple Assault, Harassment Charges
Police arrested Vincent J. Catagnus Jr. after he allegedly punched a Trappe woman in the face, “causing her nose to bleed,” and bruising her arms after he allegedly grabbed them during a reported domestic disturbance Aug. 5, according to a state police report.
Collegeville Man Accused of DUI
Robert Law, 38, of Collegeville, is facing DUI and “related traffic charges” following a raffic stop Aug. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Law was pulled over on Bridge Street, near Wartman Road, in Perkiomen Township for allegedly erratic driving and an expired inspection (June 2011), a police report states. Police claim Law “exhibited signs of alcohol impairment and failed field sobriety tests,” the report continues.
He was taken to the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks for a breath test, according to police.
Harleysville Man, Woman Accused of Harassment
A Harleysville man and woman were cited for harassment after an altercation allegedly turned physical, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The pair was at a residence in the 2000 block of Legat Lane in Skippack around 2 a.m. Aug. 6 when a “verbal argument … escalated when the (man) pushed the female to the ground twice,” the report states. Then “the female grabbed the male around the arms and pushed him,” according to police.
Police Seeking Information to Help Recover Stolen Vent Covers
Pennsylvania State Police are asking the public’s help in solving a theft case at the .
According to a police report, sometime between 5 p.m. Aug. 4 and 9 a.m. Aug. 5, an unknown individual(s) stole four stainless steel vent covers from new pipeline, which is under construction.

Police: Intoxicated Man Tries to Enter Wrong Home
Pennsylvania State Police filed a public drunkenness charge against a 30-year-old Norristown man in connection with an incident in Trappe Borough around 4 a.m. on Aug. 6.
Police responded to the 200 block of Claynor Avenue following a report of an individual trying to gain access to a residence through the front door, according to a state police report.
Upon arriving, police found the Norristown man sitting on the porch, wearing his boxers and “had urinated himself,” the report states. Police allege the man was “highly intoxicated” and had believed he lived at the Trappe residence, the report continues.
