Perkiomen Drug Dealer Arrested in Whitpain, Cops Say

Stetson Zeigler, 24, is charged with drug possession with intent to deliver after a Whitpain traffic stop.

 

A Perkiomen man is facing several charges after a Whitpain traffic stop in which he was allegedly found in possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, according to the Whitpain Township Police Department.

Stetson Zeigler, 24, of Bridge Street, was stopped on March 11 on the side of Dekalb Pike just north of Skippack Pike around 1:30 a.m. with his vehicle's flashers on when approached by Whitpain police, according to a report.

The officer allegedly smelled marijuana, and a narcotics detection dog indicated that additional drugs were allegedly in the vehicle, according to a polic report.

Police located marijuana that appeared to be packaged for sale, and Oxycodone pills that were not prescribed to the driver or the occupant of the vehicle, police said.

Stetson was charged with possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records. He turned himself in on Thursday.

Stetson was unable to post $2,500 bail and was remanded to county jail, records state.
