Perkiomen Valley Field Hockey Wins Against Spring-Ford
Coach says game's second half featured Vikings' 'total dominance.'

Erik Enters submitted the following information:
Big win for Saturday! From the start of the game it was clear the Vikings would be highly competitive against a team that has had their number for the past two years.
The first half featured smothering defensive pressure from all 11 girls on the field, causing many turnovers and resulted in nine corner opportunities. We could not capitalize on these chances. SF did not have a legitimate scoring chance until the final minutes of the first half and were able to convert on a questionable play from the top of the circle.
The second half featured total dominance. Chandler was able to score on a corner on an assist from Annie 3-1/2 minutes into the half. PV continued to keep the ball in SF's end forcing eight more corners and at the 9:58 mark, Annie scored the winning goal after excellent work by the entire team to transition the ball into their circle. Courtney picked up an insurance goal in the final minutes. Excellent work by everyone, especially Colleen McGann who a great game at midfield.
PV moves to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the PAC-10
