Perkiomen Valley High School Grad's 'Got Talent'
Dylan Andre, 19, of Zieglersville, is a finalist in the NBC competitive reality show.
Dylan Andre, 19, is having his moment in the spotlight—and a shot at the big time—as a finalist on the NBC reality show America's Got Talent according to a Philadelphia Inquirer story.
Andre, a graduate and Zieglersville resident, taught himself his singing and guitar skills, Inquirer staff writer Peter Mucha reports. Uninterested in an electric guitar he received as a sophomore, Andre picked up his mother's 12-string guitar (and took off six strings) last April and wowed his mom, Deborah, with his raw talent, the story continues.
The teen, who is named after Bob Dylan, is quoted in the story, saying, "If I can do this for a living, and help my family out at the same time, there's no reason to be nervous. There's no reason to want to stop."
