Perkiomen Valley Schools Celebrates National Breakfast Week

The Perkiomen Valley School District has announced its celebration of National Breakfast Week, which extends from Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11.

Children are invited to join the district for breakfast at all schools as part of the week's celebration. Breakfast is $1.40 and is served at 8:30 a.m. at elementary schools, 7:20 a.m. at middle schools and 7:15 a.m. at the high school. Studies have showed that children who eat a nutritious breakfast perform better all around in school.

The district will be limiting sodium, saturated fat and calories, which means that added sugar in children's meals will also be limited. Every items served contains zero grams per serving of trans fat.
