Plymouth Officials Thank Collegeville at Monthly Meeting

The Collegeville Police Department was thanked for helping when Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox was killed in the line of duty in September.

 

Plymouth Township officials visited the March Collegeville Borough Council meeting to thank the borough, and its police department, for helping the township when Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox was shot and killed in the line of duty in September.

On March 6, Plymouth Township Council Chairman Sheldon Simpson, Vice Chairwoman Lenora Bruno, Police Chief Joseph Lawrence and Township Manager Karen Weiss attended the meeting, expressing gratitude for the help.

“Without any questions or concerns, Collegeville sent their representatives down,“ Simpson said. “Your police officers were protecting our residents, keeping our township safe while we got through our tragedy."

According to Lawrence, Plymouth Township has been visiting all of the municipalites that offered help during the tragic time.

“Plymouth has been attending, or trying to make everyone’s monthly meetings, to say 'thank you,'” Lawrence said.
