Police, Fire and EMS Stats Released in Perkiomen Township

Pennsylvania State Police reported 94 incidents, Perkiomen Township Fire Co. responded to 13 incidents, and there were 43 ambulance requests in February.

 

Perkiomen Township officials released the police, fire and ambulance logs for the month of November, which included 94 Pennsylvania State Police calls, 14 Perkiomen Fire Company incidents, and 43 ambulance requests from Trappe Ambulance and Lower Frederick Regional Ambulance Corps.

Four assaults, two burglaries, one suspicious person, one suspicious vehicle, and two criminal mischief incidents were reported in the month of February in Perkiomen Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police’s month-end report.

There were 14 total collisions in the township, two requests to assist motorists, one animal on the roadway and three reports of debris in the roadway, according to the PSP.

There was one indecent assault reported and one general sex offense classified as “other” on the books; one protection from abuse order was served, and one PFA was violated, police said.

There was one public drunkenness and two disturbances reported in Perkiomen Township, PSP said.

Perkiomen Township Fire Company

According to a report from the Perkiomen Township Fire Marshal, there were 13 incidents in the month of February.  Five reports were of carbon monoxide detectors, one dwelling fire, one electrical fire outside, on vehicle rescue at Gravel Pike and Plank Road, and one request to assist the EMS with lifting. There was also a report of a hazardous material in a dwelling.

Trappe Fire Company No. 1 Ambulance

According to Trappe Fire Company No. 1 Ambulance, there were 30 total dispatches to Perkiomen Township in the month of February.  The Trappe Station was dispatched to 18 incidents in the township; the Limerick Station was dispatched to three.

The average dispatch to response time was 1.4 minutes; response to arrival was 4.9 minutes. The overall time to arrival was 6.3 minutes.

Lower Frederick Regional Ambulance Corps

The Lower Frederick Regional Ambulance Corps was dispatched to Perkiomen Township 13 times in February; eight dispatches were to Highland Manor, according to a report.
