Despite having two singles players temporarily sidelined with ankle injuries, pulled off a 4-3 win against visiting Owen J. Roberts on Thursday afternoon. PV's Hannah Toombs and Leona Kretzu, fresh off victories on Tuesday against Upper Perk, were both out with ankle problems.
However, the Vikings showed their depth by moving the first doubles team of Vini Kumar and Jeanette Wiley into the second and third singles spots, respectively. Kumar came away with a 6-1, 6-4 victory and Wiley cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 win.

Owen J. Roberts, however, took the win at first singles with Jess Bauernschmidt outlasting Emily Wendel 6-4. 6-1.
Because the team was missing two players from the singles spots, Perkiomen Valley had to move all of their doubles teams up one position. Owen J. Roberts took the third doubles match 6-3, 6-1, while the Perk Valley tandem of Abena Aggrey and Danielle Newbill took a win at first doubles 7-5, 6-0. The PV team of Nicole Caramano and Alexa Bachinsky sealed the team win with a 7-6(6), 6-3 win at second doubles.
The final match to finish was the fourth doubles court. Perk Valley junior varisty players Maddie Conte and Izzy Dove put up a tough fight in their first varsity appearance. After losing a tough first set in a tiebreaker 6-7(2), they stormed back to take the second set 6-2. But the Vikings came up a little short in the third set, 3-6.
Perk Valley is now 2-0 in the PAC-10 and 2-1 overall.
Perk Valley also took the Junior Varisty match 4-1.
