Coleman was most recently a senior accounting with the Children’s Schoolhouse of Collegeville, and has a degree in accounting from Bloomsburg University.
"I would like to be the Perkiomen Township tax collector because I would like to give back to a wonderful township that offers many things to its residents," said Coleman. "Being the tax collector would also allow me the opportunity to meet wonderful people that I otherwise might never meet, as well as allow me to better our township by collecting their taxes.

"Being a tax collector allows me to utilize my knowledge and experience I have as an Accounting Manager," Coleman said.
Johnston is a business office secretary to the director of finance and controller in the North Penn School District Educational Service Center.
"I decided in January, before I learned of Mr. Gauglers retirement, that I wanted to do more and to serve my community in a larger capacity than the volunteering I already do with Girl Scouts, the Home and School and my church," Johnston said. "I feel that my experience in working with eight tax collectors in Montgomery County, for well over sixteen years, and the knowledge I already have about the tax collection process makes this a perfect opportunity for me to do just that."
