Skippack Firefighters Quickly Control Trash Fire
There was no major damage to the property.
What some callers in early reports described as a "bonfire" close to a house at the intersection of Plank Road and Route 73/Skippack Pike in Skippack Township was illegal trash burning, according to Fire Chief Haydn Marriott IV.
. responded to the scene around 9:15 this evening, and the fire was extinguished in less than 20 minutes.
Marriott said there was no major property damage.
