Skippack Passes Ordinance for Parking Near Skippack Elementary
The ordinance prevents parents from lining both sides of Mt. Airy Road to pick up students, according to the township.

The Skippack Township Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and passed an ordinance on April 10 to amend township code, preventing cars from parking on both side of Mt. Airy Road on the southeast side between Harmon Court and Heckler Road in the Township.
According to the township, parking on both sides of the road became an issue when Skippack Elementary stopped busing students in communities across from the school – the Wincrest Estates development, the Fairlawn Court townhouse community, the Harmony Towne Woods subdivision, and the Monroe Court townhome community.
