Skippack Pike to Close Twice This Week for Repairs [UPDATE]

The road will be closed between DeKalb Pike and Bethel Road.

Skippack Pike will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday night and July 2, between Dekalb Pike and Bethel Road, for construction on a Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge.

The closure was initially intended for Wednesday night,  and then Thursday, but was postponed again to Friday; the July 2 closure is still on schedule, according to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.

Traffic will be detoured over Dekalb Pike, Morris Road and Bethel Road, and local access on Skippack Pike will be available from either direction of the bridge, but no vehicle or pedestrian traffic will be permitted through the underpass.
