Skippack’s First Fridays, Fireworks, Perkiomen Valley Sojourn Postponed
Rain has washed out some Perkiomen Valley events.

Due to rain, the Merchants of Skippack have postponed June’s First Friday activities, the Saturday Perkiomen Creek Sojourn has been postponed to June 15, and fireworks will occur Saturday night at the Perkiomen Valley Fair in Schwenksville instead of Friday.
Miss Riddle’s Candy Shop jokingly said the cancelation was due to “arc building” activities, due to all the rain.

Shops are still open regular hours in Skippack, though special activities may be canceled; stay tuned for a new date.
The Perkiomen Creek Sojourn has been postponed to June 15, due to “heavy rains and rising water levels.”

“If you haven’t registered yet, you now have a few more days to do so!” said Keenan, Ciccitto & Associates, a sponsor of the event, on Facebook.
The Perkiomen Valley Fair in Schwenksville has been rained out for Friday; fireworks are postponed until Saturday night, according to Oscar's Amusements.
