Stomel Loses Trappe Council GOP Bid; Wins Democrat Write-In
The endorsed Republican slate won the Republican primary; Stomel will be on the Democratic ballot, according to unofficial results.

Marshal Stomel lost the Republican primary election on Tuesday, but he won the most write-in votes on the Democratic ballot, making him that party's candidate in Trappe Borough, according to unofficial election results.
Stomel was not endorsed by the Trappe Republican Committee, but had the support of "Trappe's Trusted Team," including council president Fred Schuetz, and members Paul Edwards and Lew DiPrete.
