Students Asked To Nominate Their Teacher Of The Year

The Collegeville Rotary Club is seeking nominations from students for the 2012 Teacher of the Year Contest

 COLLEGEVILLE – Attention all Perkiomen Valley High School and Middle School students: The Collegeville Rotary Club is seeking your nominations for the 2012 Teacher of the Year Contest.

If you know a Perkiomen Valley middle school or high school teacher who has had a positive influence on you or your friends, consider submitting a nomination for him/her. It’s pretty simple. Here’s what you need to do:

1.    Write a short, 1-page-or-less essay about what makes your teacher stand out.

2.    Be specific about your experiences and observations.

3.    Include programs the teacher is involved in or examples of how he/she contributes to your school.

4.    Email the statement to Rotary Club President-Elect Joy Miksic at Joy.miksic@bioanalyticalsolutions.com.

5.    Submit your nomination prior to July 15, 2012.

Nominations will be kept confidential. The Rotary will hold a dinner in October in honor of those selected.
