Students Get Real-World Experience at Skippack Elementary Mall

Kindergarten students counted money, took orders, and performed services as part of the curriculum-based tradition.

 

Skippack Elementary kindergarten students got to apply what they learned this year in the real world by shopping and working at a school mall, according to a press release from the school.

“Every year Skippack kindergarten students look forward to the kindergarten mall,” says the press release.

Students learned about taking orders, counting money and making change, shopping and delivering mail.

“These learners of today will certainly be prepared to be leaders for tomorrow,” said the release.
