DUI Crash Injures Collegeville Teen, Police Say
The vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old male, struck a tree and rolled over on Anders Road in Skppack.

A Collegeville teen was treated for injuries after an alleged one-car DUI crash in Skippack Township on Feb. 15 just after 11:30 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A PSP report states that a 17-year-old male from Collegeville was traveling west on Anders Road, approaching Kratz road, in a 2000 Ford Explorer when he drove up an embankment on the rights side of the road and struck a tree. The vehicle rolled over to the left before coming to a stop in the middle of the road, facing north.

The teen was treated by Skippack Ambulance on the scene, and was transported to Einstein Hospital for further treatment, police said. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

According to police, the male exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance at the scene, and charges will be filed in juvenile court pending the blood draw results.
