'Top Dog' Winner Announced
The winning pup for the Perkiomen Valley 'Top Dog' contest pulled in a whopping 34 votes.
It was a ruff race, but it's official: The "" in Perkiomen Valley is Cody, a two-year-old border collie and pitbull mix.
With 34 votes, Cody (#19 in the competition) clinched the local portion of the photo contest. His photo was submitted by .
In second place came Crazy Cooper (#5) with 10 votes, and third place was a tie between Phinnegan the dalmation (#10) and Mindy (#11), with each receiving 6 votes.

Cody goes on to compete in the regional photo contest, with voting running from July 9 to July 20 and taking place in the comments section of the article.
On July 23, the five regional winners will be unveiled, and they will face off to become Greater Philadelphia's Patch’s Top Dog from July 23 to 27. The winner will be announced July 30.
