Trappe Ambulance Now Serving Phoenixville Borough
The emergency service provider began serving the borough on April 15.

Trappe Amblulance started covering Phoenixville Borough earlier this week, after Phoenixville Council unanimously voted to award the contract for emergency service provider to the local operation.
According to Phoenixville Borough meeting minutes, a request for proposal for Emergency Medical Services Provider was authorized to go out in September, and the decision was made to award the contract in March.

Phoenixville Patch reported that there were ongoing issues between Phoenixville Borough and its previous provider, West End Fire Co.
The Mercury reported that Trappe would take over coverage on April 15 out of Station 65 on Church Street.

Trappe Ambulance also provides service for the Perkiomen Valley, Limerick, Upper Providence, Lower Pottsgrove, and other nearby communities, according to the website.
