Trappe Auto Repair Owner Faces Attempted Murder Charge

According to the Pottstown Mercury, John Thomas Puccella--an Exton resident and owner of --faces charges including attempted murder and attempted kidnapping in connection with an alleged conspiracy to "threaten a man who he said owed his son money in July 2010," wrote reporter Brandie Kessler.

Puccella allegedly gave his son Anthony, 20, a gun to use to threaten the man, according to the Mercury report. He is also accused of driving his son to the 500 block of Virginia Avenue in Phoenxiville in order to confront the man.

Puccella was arraigned Friday and was jailed in Chester County Prison "in lieu of $150,000 cash bail," according to the report.
