Trappe Borough Official Garners Statewide Honor
Nevin Scholl received the Cecil K. Leberknight Award from the Pa. State Association of Boroughs.

Trappe Borough Council Member Nevin Scholl received the Cecil K. Leberknight Award from the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs in recognition of his 10 years of service to Trappe Borough.
Trappe Council acknowledged the honor, named after a Western Pennsylvania man who "dedicated his life to public service," at its July meeting.
“It doesn't seem like ten years,” Scholl said. “I enjoy saving the borough money by working with the rest of Council to reduce insurance, trash collection, audit and other costs.”

Scholl says he prefers to contribute, not complain, about service.
“I prefer doing things to improve government rather than complaining about government,” Scholl said. “This is why I got involved and hope to be able to continue to contribute to the best of my abilities.”
