Upper Salford Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Children
Barry McOwen allegedly videotaped and shared the incidents on the Internet.

In a case that Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Samantha Cauffman calls, “one of the most disgusting,” a 66-year-old Upper Salford man allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted four girls—who were younger than 10 years old—and videotaped the incidents to share on the Internet, according to an ABC report.
Barry McOwen, who lives on Clemmers Mill Road, is facing charges of “multiple counts of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, child pornography and invasion of privacy,” the ABC report continues.
According to a Pottstown Mercury report, the criminal complaint alleges McOwen boasted in Web chats about drugging the children with Benadryl “which he referred to as ‘my special juice,’ before sexually assaulting the girls while they were asleep or passed out.”
