Upper Salford Man Headed to Trial in Child Sex Assault Case
Barry McOwen allegedly drugged and assaulted young girls.

Barry McOwen, 66, of Clemmers Mill Road in Upper Salford, pleaded not guilty to charges of drugging and sexually assaulting several girls, according to a Times Herald report.
McOwen waived his arraignment and will now be scheduled for trial, the article states.
After his arrest in June, authorities alleged McOwen recorded his encounters with the children and shared them on the Internet.

McOwen is also accused of making statements including, "I loved it and love being a pedo (sic) so much,” and “I want to rape any pre-teen so bad,” the Times Herald article continues.
He is being held without bail at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
