Weapon Stolen by Student at Upper Perk HS, Police Say

Police responded to an incident on school property after the theft of a weapon was reported.

 

Charges are pending against a 14-year-old Pennsburg boy relating to an Upper Perkiomen High School (UPHS) incident in which the student allegedly stole a utility knife on school property, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

On Feb. 5 at 12:30 p.m., PSP were dispatched to UPHS in Red Hill Borough for the report of an attempted theft of a utility knife, and possession of a weapon on school property.

A PSP Trooper is investigating the incident, and charges are pending.
