$1 Million-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Philadelphia

A Philadelphia ShopRite sold a Powerball ticket that matched all five balls drawn Wednesday to win $1 million, lottery officials said.

PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold in Philadelphia recently won $1 million, according to officials.

ShopRite of Oxford & Levick, 6301 Oxford Ave., sold a Powerball ticket that matched five of the five white balls drawn, 15-44-63-66-69, but not the red Powerball 20, on Wednesday to win $1 million.

The ShopRite will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.

Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
