Girl, 2, Fatally Shot By Teen In Philadelphia Home: Report
A toddler died Thursday after her teenage cousin shot her in the head inside an area home, according to a 6abc report.
PHILADELPHIA, PA - A 2-year-old toddler died Thursday after her teenage cousin shot the toddler in the head, according to a 6abc report.
The shooting took place shortly before noon on Thursday on the 2600 block of 29th Street in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood of Philadelphia, the outlet said.
The girl was later pronounced dead at the hospital, the outlet added.

Investigators told 6abc the shooting happened in an upstairs bedroom. The child and her mother were taken to Temple University Hospital by a good Samaritan.
No charges have been filed as of Friday morning, 6abc reported.

A request for comment from the Philadelphia Police Department was not returned Friday morning.
In February, seven people, including a 2-year-old girl and several teenagers, were in the schoolyard outside the James G. Blaine School in Strawberry Mansion when gunmen opened fire. A 15-year-old boy was listed in critical condition in the shooting; all seven victims were later listed in stable condition.
