3 Injured In Early-Morning Shooting On I-95 In Philadelphia
Pennsylvania State Police discovered the shooting while responding to a two-car crash on northbound Interstate 95.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Three people were injured Saturday in an early-morning shooting on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Authorities said troopers were called to mile marker 28.4 on northbound I-95 shortly after 2:30 a.m. after receiving a call about a two-car crash.
When troopers arrived, they found a 2009 white Acura TL abandoned in the right lane with heavy rear-end damage and multiple bullet holes throughout the vehicle. Several yards behind the Acura was a 1984 red Ford Mustang that also sustained heavy front-end damage and several bullet holes to the front windshield.

According to police, the driver of the Mustang suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for evaluation and treatment. A passenger in the Mustang was also taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police later learned the driver of the Acura was picked up from the scene and driven to Temple University Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his upper left leg.

Interstate 95 was closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene. State police believe a third vehicle was involved in this incident and fled the scene before police responded.
