Armored Car Robbed In Broad Daylight Thursday In Philadelphia: Reports
A Loomis armored car was robbed by two people Thursday afternoon in Northeast Philadelphia, according to reports.
PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia are on the hunt for two people who robbed an armored truck Thursday.
The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. at Aldi on the 5200 block of Whitaker Avenue when a Loomis truck was making a delivery to the store, Action News reports.
According to NBC10, the suspect robbed the driver of $1,000 after disarming him, then drove off in a Nissan heading toward Roosevelt Boulevard.
