Here are the top three stories today in Philadelphia:

  1. Police are looking for a 16-year-old involved in last week's shooting that killed a teen and wounded four others after a football scrimmage. The shooting comes just after Philadelphia surpassed 400 homicides for the year. Police said the 16-year-old is “considered armed and dangerous” and anyone seeing him should not approach but call 911. (WITF)
  2. Seventeen models, including Carmen Electra and Ted Lasso's Keeley Hazell, are suing two Philly clubs for using their images without consent. This is not the first time models have been involved in lawsuits like this. Carmen Electra sued adult clubs in Raleigh in 2021 and other models sued West Allis Club in 2019. (Philadelphia magazine, Subscription)
  3. Three Philadelphia-area men have been charged with stealing nearly 400 checks from USPS mailboxes. Philadelphia's Sam Lolo and Bruno Nyanue as well as Clifton Heights' Gransae Manue face prison time and up to $8.5 million in fines. Charges include conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud, aggravated identity theft, conspiracy to commit mail theft, possession of stolen mail, and robbery of a postal carrier.
