Bryant is charged with 10 counts each of attempted murder, aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person. Additionally, he is charged with three separate firearm violations and one count of possession of an instrument of crime.

Krasner's office requested that the defendant be detained on $10 million bail. This remains an ongoing investigation.

"I am pleased to announce that my office is charging Mr. Bryant with Attempted Murder and related charges for his reckless behavior while traveling on a SEPTA bus this past weekend," Krasner said. "During the mayhem, three teenaged boys and a woman—all innocent bystanders—were struck and wounded. Law enforcement also believes that this defendant intended to murder others on the bus too. The Gun Violence Task Force will prosecute this case and hold Bryant appropriately accountable."
