Driver Hospitalized After Being Rescued From Crashed Vehicle On I-676
Pennsylvania State Police said a man driving a Cadillac was speeding on Interstate 676 when he lost control and crashed early Tuesday.
PHILADELPHIA — An early morning crash on Interstate 676 in Philadelphia led first responders to rescue a driver from a vehicle, sending him to a hospital for treatment.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened at about 2:41 a.m. at mile marker 1 on Interstate 676 west in Philadelphia.
Troopers said the driver lost control of a Cadillac sedan while speeding on the highway.

The Cadillac struck the concrete media, causing severe but non-life-threatening injuries to the driver, police said.
He was extricated from the vehicle by Philadelphia Fire Department crews.

Emergency responders then took him to Penn Presbyterian, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
