'Everybody Loves Raymond' Creator Phil Rosenthal Bringing Live Show To Philly
After creating the hit sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," Phil Rosenthal went on to create the Netflix food travel show "Somebody Feed Phil."

PHILADELPHIA — Television writer, producer, creator, and executive producer Phil Rosenthal today is bringing his 2025 "An Evening With Phil Rosenthal 'Of Somebody Feed Phil'" to more than 20 North American cities this August-October, and he's planning a stop in Philadelphia.
Rosenthal, who created "Everybody Loves Raymond" with Ray Romano, will appear live in a moderated conversation followed by an audience question and answer session at Miller Theater in Philadelphia on Sept. 12.
Rosenthal will be telling all the funny and true stories of his life, his television career, food, travel, friends and family.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. with the first presale beginning on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at online here.
Rosenthal is the award-winning creator, executive producer, and host of "Somebody Feed Phil," as well as a two-time New York Times Best Selling Author and soon-to-be restaurant owner.

"Somebody Feed Phil," one of Netflix’s most popular food and travel shows, has garnered a cult-like following and released its seventh season on March 1st, 2024, with season eight to be released on June 18 in 190 countries.
His Emmy-nominated series is one of Netflix’s longest unscripted series and combines Rosenthal’s love of food and travel with his brand of humor and has become must-see TV for foodies, restaurateurs, travelers, and armchair enthusiasts all over the world.
Rosenthal has been nominated for a 2024 Critics’ Choice Real TV Award, after winning Critics Choice Real TV Awards in 2022 and 2021 for “Best Travel/Adventure Show” and “Male Star of the Year” on behalf of the series. He also garnered a 2022 James Beard Award nomination for “Visual Media—Long Form.”
Rosenthal will open his own diner, Max & Helen’s, in Los Angeles this year.
He went on to create a companion book to the series, “Somebody Feed Phil The Book” which was released in the United States in October 2022.
Rosenthal's children’s book, "JUST TRY IT: A Phil and Lil Book," co-written with his daughter, Lily, released in March 2024 and is about a food-loving dad encouraging his picky eater daughter to just try something new.
Rosenthal is set to expand his literary reach with a second cookbook, "Phil’s Favorites," available for pre-order now and releasing on Nov. 4.
Additionally, his podcast "Naked Lunch" launched in May 2022 wherever podcasts are available. Co-hosted with his friend and longtime Rolling Stone journalist David Wild, each episode features a guest to discuss what’s going on in their lives while eating lunch from some of Phil’s favorite local LA eateries.
